Hampton Painting, Inc. was started by brothers Chester J. Hampton, Sr. and Willis Hampton in 1945, and went by the name of Hampton Brothers Painting. The original location was where the parking lot is for the downtown Bank of America, from there they moved to First Street where CVS is now.
Chester (Joe) Hampton, Jr. bought the business from his Dad and Uncle in 1971 and was relocated on 7th St. E., Bradenton, from there it was moved to Palmetto, and then to our current location today on 9th Avenue East in Bradenton.
In 2007, Chester (Joe) Hampton, III took over the business with Joe, Jr., still over-seeing new construction projects. Joe has extensive knowledge of paint, paint products, and uses in the Florida climate. Before working with his father, Joe began working in a local paint store at a young age. He then managed one for several years. He continues to communicate with Scott, Sherwin Williams, etc as needed for new information and recommendations. He always goes the extra mile to make sure every customer is happy with their results today, and for years to come.
Joe, and his employees, who some, have worked at Hampton Painting for more than 15 years, take much pride in their work. With so many years of experience, and loyalty to this business, Joe and his painters uphold the high standards that have made Hampton Painting a third generation successful painting business. No wonder Hampton Painting has a large base of returning happy customers!
